MLC 2006 IMplementation - MLC 2006 Generator

Implementation of MLC 2006 enforces seafarer's rights to decent working conditions worldwide. As a result of ratification by 30 member states (and over 33 per cent of the world's GT), MLC 2006 has come into force on August 20th, 2013. 

Shipowners in ratifying flagstates are required to apply for DMLC Part I and to compile DMLC Part II for their ships by August 2013.

Any ship visiting ratifying flagstates may also be checked by Port State Control regarding MLC 2006 compliance as of 20th August 2013.
